Historic Harlem House
Home for Rent
THINGS TO DO
This beautiful historic home was built in 1883 by a wealthy physician, Dr. MacConnell. He and his family entertained often and even hosted a masquerade ball in the parlor that was written up in the New York Times.
The current owner has spent years fully renovating the magnificent space to preserve the historical elements while providing the most updated comforts of today.
Staying a Elizabeth's was a treat from start to finish. Staying in the house was a wonderful experience. A gracious brownstone in the heart of Harlem made you feel like you were experiencing New York in a very special way. The location was great. A hop on the Subway and you are within 10 minutes of everything, and being in Harlem you get to experience living in a real neighborhood. Harlem itself is fantastic. We loved it. Fantastic service and the highest caliber of Jazz, obviously Sylvia's and don't overlook the cool little bars and eateries on Lenox. All in all a fabulous experience. ~ Nikki
